September is another month of buyers taking advantage of the low prices and motivated sellers of Venice homes.  Also  the rush for the $8,000 tax credit which ends Nov. 30th.

Concerning the end of the tax credit Nov. 30th Realtors are contacting government officials to extend, increase or make the tax credit available to all homeowners in 2010.   It would be a great time for you to contact you congress representative and get on board.  There is power in numbers.

In town we have the Women's Sertoma Sun Fiesta October 16, 17 and 18 and a Halloween Parade on Venice Main Street October 31.  Also, it is time to say goodbye to Mel's Diner in Venice,  I'll miss you, and say welcome back to Denny's.
