Venice Bits

Our weather has been absolutely gorgeous.  It's been sunny, in the mid 70's to 80's, with a slight breeze.  Gulf temp. is still chilly at 71 degrees, but the water is a shimmering blue.   Take time off and enjoy the weather! 

Effective 2-28-2011, Venice Beaches are SMOKE FREE!  Signs will be posted and police will enforce the new ordinance which carries a penalty of a $97 fine with  possible court costs. 

Cash sales at 71% continue to dominate the preferred purchase method. The February ending sales figures for the Venice area are as follows:

Lots of snowbirds left the end of February, not really wanting to return home.  Town is filled with the new snowbirds for March. The following activities are scheduled for the Venice Area:

Every Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in Centinnel Park, "Slim & Friends".
